Sri Sri Ayurveda
Ayurveda is the Mother of all natural health care systems, drawing upon 5,000 years of observation of human existence. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit term which means the knowledge (Veda) of life (Ayur). Even a basic understanding of this profound system of health gives the ability to detect imbalances at a subtle level greatly reducing the chance of developing disease. This comprehensive preventive system, which is recognized by the World Health Organization, is currently benefiting a third of the world’s population.
Founded by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sri Sri Ayurveda is the signature name for Ayurveda within the Art of Living Foundation. The 3 main centers for Sri Sri Ayurveda are Bangalore (India), Oppenau (Germany) and Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc (Canada).
The Sri Sri Ayurveda Institute in Canada offers a range of rejuvenating tools that perfectly complement those offered by the Art of Living Foundation (yoga, breathing, meditation). These tools make it possible to create a direct link between the teachings offered, the daily practices and the world we live in.
With the emphasis on the best of ayurvedic education, the institute offers trainings for technicians, cookery and Dina Charya teachers.
