Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions about directions to the Centre, transportation options, and what to expect upon arriving at the International Art of Living Centre.

How far is the Centre from Montreal?
The Centre is situated two hours (150 km/93 miles) east of Montreal, near the village of Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc in the pristine Quebec countryside. Plan your trip to ensure that your transportation to and from the Centre is as smooth as possible. Driving directions from neighboring Canadian and US cities can be found below.

Is there a shuttle from the airport to the Centre?
The Centre will provide limited transportation from and to Trudeau International Airport (formerly known as Montreal Dorval Airport), ONLY on the days of arrival and departure for your course. See details on the application.
If am not taking a course, are there other transportation options?
Ask us about the possibility of transportation service outside of the above guidelines. If transportation is available, the extra cost for this special service will be: $70 per round trip per person.
What should I pack?
For the summer, along with your clothing and toilletries, we also suggest you bring a flash light, raincoat, mosquito repellent and sunscreen. Winters are cold and so a warm winter coat, insulated boots and gloves or mittens are a must. Also bring slippers for inside the building.
What is the weekend retreat?
The weekend retreat is a two-day getaway featuring Ayurvedic spa treatments, Art of Living breathing and meditation techniques, and knowledge of nutrition and health. Upcoming retreats
What are the off-campus housing options for families with children?
Parents with children under age 16 have the option of staying in nearby hotels. Contact us for more details.
Do you offer youth programs?
Yes, we offer youth programs for children age 5 to18. The Angels program is for children age 5 to 7 ; Art Excel is for children age 8 to 13 and the YES! program is for teens age 14 to 18.
What kind of food is provided during events?
Delicious vegetarian food is prepared fresh for each meal. Please let us know upon your arrival if you have any food allergies/restrictions.
